Hi there, I have recently found out my unborn baby is in the high risk for down syndrome category. My partner and myself have decided to do CVS test just to get a proper diagnosis and to help us in preparing for the possibility and helping us to overcome the reality of pur child has down syndrome. I am very touched by your website and I hope Kelsi is well. I have been caring for my younger sister since I was 3, she has a rare chromosome disorder. I think caring for her has given me the strength to realise that everyone is perfect.

I have also received the results have high risk for DS for my first child today. It has been an emotional day, yet as of now I feel more optimistic with reading your website and other articles. You are so right about the negative thoughts coming from your own ignorance about DS. Kelsi is such a beautiful spirit, I can feel it through the computer screen. I just have been going through so much already with this pregnancy, I didn’t think I could take another hit, but with a lot of prayer and support and awesome sites like yours, I have faith and hope….and I am going to not let what I cannot control ruin my excitement and joy of this baby coming.
